Over the last 5 years Ian has helped hundreds of people throughout the UK overcome their fears and achieve success in their lives.
Examples of Ian's Work:

Karen (Carlisle) Fear of Dying. Ian recently worked with Karen on Channel 5's "Help I'm Married to a High Maintenence Wife". Read Karen's story here
Danielle (Essex) Fear of Dogs. Before meeting Ian and Pete even going to her local shops made Danielle panic. When she used to walk to college she’d be on edge and ready to run. Only those close to her knew how bad she was. She even had to turn down a nanny job because they had a dog. On live TV Danielle took part in a mock dog show and won 1st prize for her entry with an Old English Sheepdog.

Penny (Oxfordshire) Fear of Birds. Penny had been phobic of birds since she was 5 years old. She was terrified of birds, both live and stuffed ones, and couldn’t go into her town centre because of pigeons. Penny realised her phobia was affecting her children and wanted to lead a normal life with them and do things like taking them to the zoo. Penny amazed viewers on the Lorraine Kelly show when she allowed a beautiful Harris Hawk with a 4 foot wingspan fly to her arm live on TV.
Delphine (London) Fear of Flying. Delphine hadn’t flown for 25 years missing out on holidays, family events and visiting friends abroad. Dr Hillary Jones GMTV Doctor recorded high levels of stress and anxiey from Delphine just talking about planes. Delphine reached new heights when she flew over Dalston Hall in a helicopter live in front of millions on national TV.
Brian (Essex) Fear of Balloons. Brian had a phobia of balloons since he was a young boy. With a young son of his own, Brian, like Penny, didn't want his fear to rub off on the kids. Brian conquered his fear and completed an obstical course of balloons live on national TV.
Caroline (Cumbria) Panic Attacks. Fear of driving, eating out, going to the cinema, leaving light switches on.... Carolin'es life became ruined by phobias. "I was so scared of life that I could barely get out of bed" she said. After meeting and working with Ian, Caroline has overcome all her fears, trained as an NLP Coach and set up her own website providing local support to others who suffer from panic and anxiety. Visit SWYCHI for more details of Caroline's amazing story.
Diane (Carlisle) Fear of Flying. At 16 Diane was on a flight that had to make an emergency landing due to a fire and hadn't been on a plane since. 36 years later with the help of Ian Banyard she successfully flew over Carlisle airport and conquered her fear. Diane's achievement was captured on camera by Border TV and recorded live for BBC Radio Cumbria. To see the full story click here
Fran (Gloucestershire) Fear of Riding Horses. Following a serious fall Fran lost her confidence to ride. After calling in to speak to Ian on BBC Radio Gloucestershire and a couple of Confidence Coaching sessions Fran fealessly took to the saddle live on air. 'I can't remember the fear anymore, I just feel the excitement and enjoyment of riding' Fran told Jo Durrant from Radio Gloucestershire.
Pat (Forest of Dean) Fear of Lifts & Enclosed Spaces. Pat only needed one session with Ian before she had the confidence to get into a lift live on BBC Radio Gloucester on her own.
Angela (Bishops Cleeve) Fear of going into the Attic. As a result of being put in an Anderson shelter during the war Angela had developed a fear of going into dark spaces which had transferred to her attic. After more than 50 years of getting others to go in for her, Angela with the help of Ian's coaching, confidently climbed into her attic 'live' on BBC Radio Gloucestershire.
