What is MBNT?

Mindfulness-based nature therapy, MBNT, is a modified form of self-therapy that incorporates nature connection guiding and natural mindfulness practices. MBNT combines nature connection practices, present moment awareness using sensory and breathing exercises. This guided therapeutic approach to wellness and wellbeing helps heal the body, relax the mind and lift the spirit.

Using Natural Mindfulness practices, clients are guided to connect with nature in the here and now as well as disconnect from negative thought patterns and feelings that can cause a decline into a mood-disordered state. MBNT guidance can also help a person reduce stress levels and ward off a negative frame of mind before it takes hold.

MBNT is derived from the work of Ian Banyard, wellbeing author, nature connection guide, guide trainer, creator of Natural Mindfulness and the founder of Nature Connection World.

 

Individual Natural Mindfulness Walking Sessions.

A 1:1 walk/session with a trained Natural Mindfulness guide in a safe and beautiful natural landscape. During the walk you will have the opportunity to learn how nature connection can heal the body, relax the mind and lift the spirit. Your guide will also share some simple and powerful Natural Mindfulness exercises and help you practice them on the walk/session. Your guide can also help you create and develop your own Natural Mindfulness practice.

  • One to one sessions are available both face to face and online.
  • Individual MBNT walking sessions are £40.00 and include a 7 day online self-therapeutic programme)
  • Individual MBNT online sessions are £25.00 per person per session. (Initial session is a 7 day programme)

Group Mindfulness based Nature Therapy Sessions.

A 90 minute group walk/session with a trained Natural Mindfulness guide in a safe and beautiful natural landscape. During the walk you will have the opportunity to learn how nature connection can heal the body, relax the mind and lift the spirit. Your guide will also share some simple and powerful Natural Mindfulness exercises and help the group practice them on the walk/session. Your guide can also help group members create and develop their own Natural Mindfulness practice.

  • Facilitated MBNT group sessions are available both face to face and online.
  • Group MBNT walking sessions are £20.00 per person – 2 people +
  • Individual MBNT online sessions available from only £10.00 per person per session.
